The sixth and final webinar in the TO_AITION educational series, titled “Biomarkers of Clinical Utility in Cardiovascular Disease”, took place on 17 December 2024 via the ESC 365 platform. This session brought together leading experts to discuss the role of biomarkers in cardiovascular risk assessment and disease management.
The webinar was hosted by Dr. Reijo Laaksonen (Tampere University, Finland) and featured presentations from: Dr. Marcus Kleber (Universitätsmedizin Mannheim, Germany) and Professor Winfried März (Institute of Public Health, Universitätsmedizin Mannheim, Germany)

With polygenic risk scores becoming an essential tool in cardiovascular medicine, this session provided critical insights into their potential for identifying high-risk individuals before symptoms appear.
