PlaqView webportal and movie (21 July 2022)

Dr. Sander W. van der Laan, assistant professor at partner UMCU, in collaboration with investigators at the University of Virginia has developed the PlaqView webportal.

PlaqView is a standalone, interactive, and reproducible Shiny/R-based tool designed to explore cardiovascular single-cell genomic datasets.

The purpose of this tool is to make these valuable datasets and data analysis tools broadly accessible to non-bioinformaticians. PlaqView is an open-source tool, freely available and can be adapted to different single-cell datasets.

Check out the webpage here (https://www.plaqview.com) and a very useful movie the investigators have created that acts as a short demo users can learn about the various features and capabilities of the R/shiny based application on YouTube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWV9MLl8LcI)
