Arja Rydin (PhD candidate VUMC) and colleagues from partners VUMC and UVA, published a study on the co-expression of metabolic markers and depressive symptoms using network modelling to elucidate the high associations between depression and cardiovascular disease risk.
By creating a network of individual depressive symptoms and a full lipidomic panel, a subset of symptoms and markers showing strong connections was revealed.
